Money into smoke

Beautiful day for the range today, 70's, no wind, not too crowded (four of us on the 50yd walk-up).
Fifty or so rounds through each pistol and a hundred through the poodle shooter.
First few cylinders from the 686 was a taste loud as they were handloaded .357mag which were a skosh hot. Been used to poppin' .38spl.
The MK111 is either going back to Ruger or the gun show. At least one stovepipe every mag...sigh.
Sorry for you folks back east, looks nasty and more to come.
When I was working they would send me back there in the winter and for a Kali boy I was not pleased.
Y'all stay safe.

  1. Glad you got out and got some range time! Envy that!!! And no, I'm NOT going to the range in 20 degree weather... sigh

  4. LOL, true! Instead I went to the gun show, which turned out to be a bust... sigh

  6. Hot up here digging in the rocks, but I need to get over to the range and try-out my .44-40 and see what Ruger hath wrought.
