I ordered a wifi outdoor camera from Amazon and it works better than I expected.
Cool, I'll get another one for another blind spot.
Prime deducted $54 from my bank, gave me a delivery date of about a week, and a tracking link.
A week goes by and I see its at a Fedex facility about ten miles from here. So far so good, right?
Next day I see it's in a Fedex facility in Oakland, CA. WTF?
Day after that it was delivered and signed for in San Francisco. Shit.
Since May 5th I've got no response from Amazon, no refund, no replacement, email, nada .
Fedex tells me "not our problem, go to Amazon".
So now I'm out a bottle of good bourbon or a coupla boxes of ammo.
Maybe if joined the riots I could loot Amazon for fifty bucks worth of shit.
2020 is not shaping up real well.
I've had that happen. They will either refund or send another. I usually get an email a few days after the due date. Maybe the lag time is due to the shutdowns. Which one did you get that you like?

Given that Canada is the second largest country in the world, the cost to send an item within the country can vary greatly depending on the distance and method. how late does FedEx deliver on Saturday
ReplyDeleteAmazon has always been pretty good with deliveries or replacement, have they changed? Your item not being a firearm shouldn't trigger the wuss's that work there.
